Beaded-krash's Review February 17, 2004 @ 4:14 p.m. Beaded-krash- ~*!*~ Welcome to my world of cause & effect.... ~*~Username and Title:I like the username. It's rather cute. I think of a little go-kart that's covered in shiny beads. I like your title as well. It's rather thought-provoking. Nothing particularly exciting, but likeable.-3/5. ~*~Thoughts While The Page Was Loading:Oooh, I've seen this layout before. Danielle-y had it, I believe...-4/5. The Starlit-Lily Factor: ~*~Does Your Soul Shine Through?Sure. At least I think it does. You seem to be about seventy percent typical high school girl, thirty percent emotional, deep-thinking young woman. You're fairly intellectual, pretty sensitive--but I didn't really, truly see anything that defines you as a person. It was rather like eating mashed potatoes with butter and salt and pepper, but no additional seasoning.-23/35. ~*~Are You Observant Of Beauty?Usually when I get to this part of the review, I'm referring to rather transcendental looks on life, without Thoreau's god-awful verbosity. I didn't really see much of this in your diary, though I saw some rather poignant looks on life, particularly when your friend Cynthia died. My sympathy to you on that, by the way...I lost two friends myself last year. I saw that you are often tender-hearted and sympathetic, but...observant? Perhaps the potential is there, but it's not being utilized right now. So, to be honest with you, I have to give you a bit of a low score here.-12/35. Layout: I generally sneer a bit at layouts surrounding celebrities, and I do at this one. But I like this layout regardless of my slight disdain for what I interpret as the unoriginal. Its colors are beautiful, the lyrics are beautiful as well, and the image is unique. The organization is also beautiful, and everything is nicely clear and easy to view. I even like the shoutbox.-15/20. Navigation: The organization of your navigation is great. I like how nice and tidy everything is, and I like the hover effects--they're simple, but the colors are pretty. Very pretty!-9/10. Content: ~*~Your Content:I started reading with your first entry; I read into September, then skipped to October, and read straight through to your index. That being said... ...Great Goddess, you daylog a lot. I found myself hoping, desperately, that you would show some emotion, and think about something other than your friends in Drama. And, up until I read about Cynthia, you pretty much disappointed me, with the exception of some wistful, poignant thoughts scattered here and there. I liked those, quite a lot. You speak tenderly of your friends, and of your animals. I too have quite a few pets and know how you feel about them. If I had dreamed about my beastie dying as you did, I would wake up crying. You also seem to have a better family than most...though I'm sorry about your biological father. Men can be such asses, don't you think? He obviously doesn't know how lucky he is to have a daughter who's as good a person as you are. He'll pay for it eventually--karma does have a way of happening. Despite your daylogging, I rather enjoyed your entries. There's something rather spunky and cute about you, that makes me smile, and makes me enjoy your diary.-47/70. ~*~Your Grammar and Spelling:Ugh. Your diary was inundated with Cybenglish and general teenage slang. Most unattractive.-4/10. Extras: Will I Return? Maybe. Comments: I enjoyed reviewing your diary; it was fairly entertaining. Total:127/200. ![]() !~***~ ~*~!~*~ ~***~! ~*~Recently Reviewed Lilies~*~ |
