False-apathy's Review June 08, 2004 @ 12:24 a.m. False-apathy ~*!*~ ¨º Apathy's Angel Pretending Again º¨ ~*~Username and Title:Upon first viewing the username and title, the username, I find, is rather thought-provoking, although in my cynical manner I find that it smells rather of angst-ridden teenager. However, the title is curious. It isn't what I would expect, somehow, even though it fits, for certain. I think I like it, though I say this a bit uncertainly. I have not yet fully decided if I like it. -2/5. ~*~Thoughts While The Page Was Loading: Hmm, this one is a Scorpio. I love (most) Scorpios. Oh, wow. What a moody, dark little Scorpio-esque layout. -4/5. The Starlit-Lily Factor: ~*~Does Your Soul Shine Through? Yes, it does. I am not without amazement that you are only fourteen, as you are wise beyond your years. You seem to me very much a Scorpio--cool and collected on the outside, full of passion, turmoil and pure Water on the inside. You have a well-developed sense of your sexuality--again I marvel that you are only fourteen, because you are quite honest and blunt about how you feel about sex, and relationships. I could easily dismiss it as the arrogant certainty of youthfulness, but as I myself was fairly certain about my own sexual wishes when I was that age, I can't do so. I have a great deal of respect for you, for the way you handle yourself in emotional situations. You strike me as being a poised and wise young lady, who also has a sense of humor--sly, and somewhat sardonic, I think, very much a Scorpio trait. -40/35. ~*~Are You Observant Of Beauty? Yes, I would have to say that you are, very much so. You have a sensuous--as well as a sensual--appreciation for life in general. You have a remarkable insight; you seem to be capable of seeing all the beauty in someone like few people can--again, in considering your age, even fewer than most your age. You also have a soft, poignantly delicate appreciation of sensory stimuli. You see things in nature, and in society, -32/35. Layout: I was, ironically, rather apathetic when I first beheld your layout. Having designed a few layouts myself, I noted the technical features of your layout first and foremost. Now that I have read more about you, I find myself rather fond of your layout. The image is beautiful--soft and yet sharp and crisp at the same time. It is dreamy, but it is grounded and Earthly. The layout itself is perfect. The font is not large, nor is it too small, and it is a sensible font which most browsers and Operating Systems will recognize. The filter for the text box is elegant and flattering to both text and image; the arrangement of links, perfect. I applaud your designing skills.-22/20. Navigation: Your navigation is simple, clean, and precise. I love people who have sense enough to make it easy to follow things about their site, I really do. And you capitalized the link faces. I love you. I really do. -15/10. Content: ~*~Your Content:I read...mostly everything. That being said... I don't recall if you said so or not, but your sense of professionalism in your writing suggests that you have kept a diary before. However, I must also wonder about that, because you do not really have the world-weary tone of one who has wandered through many journals. Occasionally as a reviewer--you have probably experienced this yourself, seeing as you are a fellow reviewer--I come across a diarist who, when their age is revealed, I find myself doubting it, or wondering how old their soul is. Your soul, it would seem, is quite old, even while your mind still has a glimmer of youth to it. In your writing, I see a young woman who, while conscious of and appreciative of her youth, craves the freedom and liberty that comes with age and consequently the breaking of societal constraints. You often mention a sense of discontentment with your life; this is, of course, common in younger teenagers, but what's uncommon about you is that you're able to find more moments of contentment than others. You are, peculiarly, solidly aware of and accepting of your own traits. You manage to exude acceptance of yourself even as you don't insinuate that you are unwilling to change. One of the things I marvel at most is your acceptance of your sexuality, and romanticism. You're still quite young, but you know that you are a sexual, intensely passionate creature, and that you are very sensual and sensitive to the finer points, as well as the dark points, of sexuality. Most people are uncomfortable with sex; you, apparently, are not. I respect that, even as I marvel at that in you. I am, however, disappointed that you chose religion over your sexual orientation. I am personally of the belief that if a religion tries to dictate who you can and cannot love, it really needs to be adjusted. People will, and should, love whom they want to love. This is perhaps the only thing that truly disappoints me in you. All of the other flaws you mentioned can, quite honestly, be written off as simply being part of your nature--things you cannot, and should not have to, help. All in all, your diary has been most enjoyable. I can't recall the last time I enjoyed a diary so much. Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of reading and reviewing it. -66/70. ~*~Your Grammar and Spelling:You had a number of typos, a number of grammar mistakes. However, I saw a definite effort and attempt to type correctly, and to speak precisely and intelligently, so I see no reason to invent a creature way to torture you.-5/10. Extras: Will I Return? Yes, actually, I do believe so. Comments: How lovely a soul you have, Dakini--really, and truly lovely. Total:196/200. Welcome to the Garden, Dakini.
