I have been keeping diaries, first on paper and then on the Internet, since I was approximately twelve years old. I have been reading them since I was about eight...starting with my sister's. I am a writer by trade, an artist and musician by obsession. I intend to attend college in the fall, double-majoring in creative writing and pre-law. I am a Pagan witch; not Wiccan, but I follow a Celtic-Pagan path. I am very soft-hearted, empathetic and emotional, but I am also very blunt and opinionated. I am a Gemini with a Cancer moon, and while I believe in being kind, I will tell you exactly how I feel about diary--and if you write like an idiot, I will crucify you.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Amara: I am a sixteen-year-old girl from California, the Sunshine State, as they say. Though it's raining as I speak. I've been writing since before I can remember. I kept shortlived journals until I was about eleven, when I started writing frequently in them. I just have an unbelievably urge to put things down on paper. I can't make music, though I'd love to, and I'd love to be able to draw as well, but unfortunately I can't do that well either. I can however, read - and I do, almost constantly. I'm a Sagittarius with a Sagittarius moon - which rather explains my rebellious, adventurous nature. I love to see the best in people, but if I see the best in you, and I would still rather be trampled by a herd of rampaging elephants that read your diary, don't expect me to to be nice to you..
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Dahlia: I'm a 19 year old girl from Maryland-- it's nice, except you should watch out for the change in weather! I've been writing ever since I knew how, short stories on scraps of paper I still find around my room or in old shoe boxes. Then I found my way to Diaryland and tried my hand at a few different pen names--just like a Libra with a Virgo moon, don't you think? When I'm not writing, I'm probably painting or taking pictures. Most people wouldn't recognize me if I didn't have a camera stuck to my face. Sometimes, I play the guitar. I say sometimes, because, well, I'm not very good at it. Then again, I was never a quitter and I'm learning. While not in medical classes to work towards my degree, I'll be here writing about all of you reading this. Hopefully what I'll be writing is positive, but hey, I can't help it if your words make me want to throw myself off of the nearest highway overpass. Don't take it personally.
